How does a hyena sweat?

Hyenas actually don't sweat in the same way that humans do. They don't have sweat glands in their skin.

Instead, they rely on a few other methods to regulate their body temperature:

* Panting: Like dogs, hyenas pant to release heat through their respiratory system.

* Seeking shade: They will find shelter from the sun during the hottest parts of the day.

* Staying active at night: Hyenas are primarily nocturnal, which means they are more active at night when temperatures are cooler.

While they don't sweat, hyenas can get wet from other sources like rain, mud, or water sources.
