If you guinea pig is shivering and wet can we blow dry it with a hair dryer or do have to use towel?

You should never use a hairdryer on a guinea pig.

Here's why:

* Heat: Hairdryers produce a lot of heat, which can easily burn your guinea pig's sensitive skin.

* Noise: The noise of a hairdryer can be extremely stressful and frightening for a guinea pig.

* Airflow: The strong airflow can be disorienting and even harmful to your guinea pig's respiratory system.

Instead, use a towel:

1. Gently towel-dry your guinea pig.

2. Don't rub aggressively as this can irritate their skin.

3. Use a soft, absorbent towel that's been warmed slightly in the dryer (not hot!).

If your guinea pig is shivering and wet, it's important to warm them up quickly.

* Find a warm, draft-free location.

* Place a heating pad on low (never directly underneath the guinea pig).

* Use a towel to cover them for extra warmth.

If your guinea pig is showing signs of illness or you're concerned, consult a veterinarian immediately.
