How big is a guinea pig house?

There's no single "right" size for a guinea pig house, as the ideal size depends on the number of guinea pigs you have. However, a good general rule of thumb is:

Minimum space per guinea pig:

* For one guinea pig: A cage measuring at least 24" x 18" x 12" (61 cm x 46 cm x 30 cm).

* For two guinea pigs: A cage measuring at least 36" x 24" x 18" (91 cm x 61 cm x 46 cm).

* For three or more guinea pigs: A cage measuring at least 48" x 24" x 18" (122 cm x 61 cm x 46 cm).

Important notes:

* Bigger is always better: The more space you can provide, the happier your guinea pigs will be. They need room to run, play, and explore.

* Height matters: Make sure the cage is tall enough for your guinea pigs to stand up fully on their hind legs and stretch.

* Cages with multiple levels are great: This gives your guinea pigs more space to explore and can be a fun addition to their environment.

* Consider a C&C cage: These are very popular for guinea pigs as they are customizable and offer a lot of space.

Remember: These are just minimum requirements. You should always aim to provide as much space as you can for your guinea pigs.
