Why do guinea pigs flutter?

Guinea pigs don't actually "flutter." They might be exhibiting one of these behaviors:

* Binky: This is a common, happy behavior where guinea pigs jump up and twist their bodies in the air. It's often accompanied by excited squeals.

* Popcorning: This is a similar behavior to binky, but with more hopping and jumping. It's also a sign of happiness and excitement.

* Rumblestrutting: This is a display of dominance where guinea pigs will stand tall, vibrate their bodies, and make rumbling noises.

If you're observing your guinea pig doing any of these behaviors, it's likely a good sign that they're happy and healthy.

If you're concerned about your guinea pig's behavior, it's always best to consult with a veterinarian.
