Know that guinea pigs' toenails grow continuously.

Clip Your Guinea Pig's Nails
Prepare to clip your guinea pig's nails by placing your guinea pig on your lap with its tummy facing out.
Hold your guinea pig lightly around the stomach.
Use your nail clippers to remove the tip of the nail on the front and back feet, before it reaches the "quick" or the pink section of the nail.
Clip ¼ of an inch of the nails or less to ensure your guinea pig's safety.
