Things You'll Need
- Fine-toothed comb or natural bristled brush
- Wraps (paper towels, squares of cotton cloth or freezer paper)
- Rubber bands
Instructions
Comb your silkie guinea pig so his coat is tangle free.
Divide a section of coat to begin your wrap. You want to end up with between four and six wraps of equal size, so keep that in mind when picking up your first section.
Place the section of hair on top of your wrap, smoothing the hair down, so that it is lying neatly in the center of the wrap.
Fold the left and right section of the wrap over the middle, so the hair is totally enclosed.
Fold the wrap up at the bottom. Fold the wrap in thirds, so that it is high enough on your silkie that the wrap will not drag the ground.
Secure the wrap with a rubber band.
Repeat the process on the next section of hair.
