Instructions
Cage Assembly
Attach the house and slide to the platform by snapping them into their designated holes. Place the platform inside the cage, with corners lining up, and snap it onto the bars of the cage using the built-in hooks around the edge of the platform.
Assemble the tunnel and clip it into the two yellow end pieces. Line it up on the long side of the outside of the cage with the tunnel entrance openings, then snap the end pieces to the bars using the clips built into the end pieces.
Attach the wheel by snapping the wheel connector to the bars from the inside, then snapping the wheel on. The wheel should line up with the tunnel opening so the hamster can move from the wheel to the tunnel.
Push the water bottle attachment through the bars from the outside so the hook for the bottle is facing out. The water bottle goes into the holder with the spout facing down and into the cage.
Position the upper part of the cage, with parts attached, over the blue base. Push down to snap it into the raised lip of the base.
Place the food bowl inside the cage under the platform to leave plenty of room for the hamster to run around.
Preparing the Cage
Line the cage with an inch of cedar chips for the hamster to burrow in and use as a bathroom.
Fill the food bowl with rodent food. Read the instructions on your food container for amount recommendations.
Fill the water bottle and attach it to the cage by sliding it down into the plastic holder with the spout facing inside the cage.
Unclip the cage from blue base once a week and change the cedar chips and wash the base. You will need to hold your hamster or put it in an exercise ball during this process.
