Types of Vegetables That Hamsters Eat
Hamsters will eat just about anything, but they need to have a well-balanced diet to avoid digestive problems. Commercial hamster food generally offers a well-balanced option for most hamsters. However, you should feed your hamster some fresh food, such as fruits and vegetables, once or twice a week. Too many vegetables can cause your hamster to have digestive problems, which can include diarrhea. Hamsters can eat most vegetables in limited quantity, but stay away from iceberg lettuce and tomatoes.
