How does the hamster grow?

The stages of a hamster's growth:

1. Gestation: The gestation period for a hamster is usually around 16-22 days. During this time, the fertilized eggs develop into fetuses inside the mother's uterus.

2. Birth: Hamsters are born hairless and blind, weighing only about 2 grams. They are completely dependent on their mother for food and care.

3. Neonatal period: The neonatal period lasts for the first few days of a hamster's life. During this time, they begin to develop fur and their eyes open. They also start to learn how to walk and eat solid food.

4. Weaning: Hamsters are weaned from their mother's milk at around 3-4 weeks of age. At this time, they are fully capable of eating solid food and drinking water on their own.

5. Juvenile period: The juvenile period lasts from weaning until the hamster is about 8 weeks old. During this time, they continue to grow and develop, reaching their adult size. They also become sexually mature at this time.

6. Adulthood: Hamsters reach adulthood at around 8 weeks of age. They will continue to grow slowly for a few more months, but they will not change significantly in size or appearance. Hamsters typically live for 2-3 years.
