Do Peregrine Falcons live in the forest?
Peregrine falcons are not typically forest dwellers. They prefer open areas such as grasslands, tundra, and coastlines. Forests provide limited visibility for hunting, and the dense foliage can make it difficult for falcons to navigate and catch their prey. They generally build their nests on high cliffs, rocky outcrops, or tall buildings, where they can have a clear view of the surrounding landscape.
