Where do armadillos sleep?
Armadillos dig burrows to sleep in. They usually have several burrows in their territory, which they use for different purposes, such as sleeping, nesting, and escaping from predators. The burrows are typically dug in soft soil, such as sand or loam, and are lined with grass, leaves, and other vegetation to make them comfortable. Armadillos usually sleep during the day and emerge at night to feed. They are solitary animals, so each individual usually has its own burrow.
