In the atmosphere, water molecules can condense to form clouds. When these clouds become saturated, they release precipitation, which can take the form of rain, snow, sleet, or hail. This precipitation falls to the ground, where it can be absorbed by plants and soil, or it can run off into bodies of water.
This water can be used for drinking, irrigation, or industrial purposes and can eventually return to the atmosphere through evaporation.
Since water molecules have been recycled for millions of years, it is possible that the water you drink today may have once been part of a Jurassic animal.
