Do giant pandas live in the Himalayas?

Giant pandas are native to south central China, and their habitat is confined to the mountainous regions that stretch from Sichuan Province to the northwest and extend into parts of Shaanxi and Gansu provinces, although Tibet and Yunnan provinces are also home to small numbers of giant pandas. The Himalayas, on the other hand, are located south of Tibet, primarily extending through Nepal, India, Bhutan, and Pakistan, and do not form part of the natural habitat range for giant pandas.
