Can sea otters kill a person?

Sea otters are not known to kill humans, and there are no recorded instances of them doing so. While sea otters are predators, they typically hunt small fish, crustaceans, and other marine invertebrates. They do not typically prey on humans or other large animals. Additionally, sea otters are relatively small animals, with adults typically weighing between 25 and 40 pounds, making them unlikely to be able to cause serious harm to a person.
