What colours are bees attracted to?

Bees are mostly attracted to:

- Blue: Bees see shades of blue and violet very well, making blue flowers especially attractive to them.

- Purple: Bees also love purple flowers, with studies showing they are even more likely to visit purple flowers than blue ones.

- Yellow: Yellow is another colour bees are attracted to.

- White: Bees can also see shades of white, which they are drawn to especially if the flowers have dark centres or markings.

- Ultraviolet: Bees can see ultraviolet light, which means they can see patterns and markings on flowers that are invisible to humans.
