What do tree bats eat?

Tree bats, commonly known as Megabats, are frugivorous, which means they primarily consume fruit. Their diet consists mainly of ripe, juicy fruits such as figs, berries, bananas, mangoes, and guavas. Some species of tree bats also enjoy nectar and pollen from flowers, as well as leaves, blossoms, and occasionally, insects. Depending on their habitat and availability of food sources, tree bats can adapt to a variety of fruits and plants, ensuring their nutritional needs are met within the ecological niche they occupy.
