Instructions

    • 1

Purchase a 10 gallon aquarium for your lizard.

    • 2

Use flooring that helps to maintain humidity in the tank like moss, orchid bark or mulch. Also supply plenty of things for the lizards to climb on as they spend a lot of time in trees.

    • 3

Keep the tank at 80 degrees F on one end and 90 degrees F at the other end.

    • 4

Light the tank using a full-spectrum light. This is necessary for the lizards to survive and can be purchased at your local pet store.

    • 5

Place a large shallow bowl in the tank to supply the lizard with water.

    • 6

Spray a bottle of non-chlorinated water as a mist into the tank daily to keep the humidity at 75 percent and provide another source of water for the lizard to drink from.

    • 7

Supply your lizard with feeder insects like: meal worms, wax worms and crickets. You should put a dusting of vitamin supplement powder on the insects before feeding them to the animal.

    • 8

Clean your cage on a regular basis by changing the substrate and wiping out the trash and accessories inside.
