What can a rabbit eat?

Grasses and hay: Timothy hay is the best choice, but oat, Bermuda, brome, and orchard grass are also acceptable.

- Vegetables: Dark leafy greens like kale, collard greens, and spinach should make up the majority of a rabbit's vegetable intake. Other good options include carrots, celery, broccoli, bell peppers, and herbs like basil, cilantro, and parsley.

- Fruits: Fruit should only be given as treats and should make up no more than 10% of a rabbit's diet. Good choices include strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, and apples.

- Pellets: Pellets should be made specifically for rabbits and should be fed only as a supplement to hay.

- Water: Fresh, clean water should be available at all times.
