Can female guinea pigs live with male rabbits?

It is not recommended to house female guinea pigs with male rabbits. Here's why:

* Different Species: Rabbits and guinea pigs are different species with different needs. They have different diets, social structures, and grooming habits.

* Aggression: While some rabbits and guinea pigs may tolerate each other for a short time, there's a high risk of aggression from the rabbit towards the guinea pig. This can lead to injuries, stress, and even death.

* Breeding: If a male rabbit and a female guinea pig are housed together, they will not breed. However, the rabbit may still attempt to mount the guinea pig, causing distress.

* Disease Transmission: While rabbits and guinea pigs can carry different diseases, it's not a major concern in a well-maintained environment. However, both species can be vulnerable to parasites, and living together could increase the risk of transmission.

Instead of cohabiting, it's best to keep rabbits and guinea pigs in separate enclosures. This allows them to thrive in their natural environments and avoids potential risks.
