Avoid cedar or wood shavings, which are toxic to rabbits.
Clean and deodorize other smelly areas of your home, if there are any. Clean carpet and furniture with an odor-neutralizing product containing enzymes, according to the manufacturer's directions. Wash hard floor surfaces with a vinegar and water solution.
Wash and deodorize the rabbit cage, if necessary, using vinegar, water and baking soda.
Use a nontoxic odor-neutralizing spray in your home throughout the day, according to the manufacturer's instructions.
