Beans and Peas
-
Beans, peas and dried beans can cause constipation in rabbits. Although constipation is uncommon because a rabbit's diet is naturally high in fiber, it can happen if you're feeding them too much of these vegetables. If they do get constipated, make sure their water tray is always full and try feeding them some rabbit pellets.
Cabbage
-
Feeding your rabbit cabbage can cause gas, so it's best to avoid it. There are plenty of other leafy vegetables they can eat instead. You'll be able to tell if your rabbit has gas because it might make gurgling noises or keep pressing its stomach against the floor. Keeping the rabbit warm and massaging its stomach can help; otherwise, take it to the vet.
Corn
-
Dried corn should be avoided as rabbits can swallow these whole, causing blockages. This is a serious condition as the intestines will stop moving, which can be fatal if not treated promptly.
Tips
-
Rabbits should eat at least their own body size in quality hay each day. You can leave a bunch of this out for them to nibble on throughout the day. They should also have a handful of fresh vegetables twice a day. Vary your pet's diet by giving it different vegetables each day.

Vegetables Not to Feed a Bunny
Rabbits like to eat many types of vegetables. However, be aware that there are some that don't agree with them. You're safe with most leafy vegetables, but beware of the ones mentioned below. If you're unsure of whether to feed your rabbit a certain vegetable, always consult your vet first.
