How to Stop a Rabbit From Shedding

House rabbits, like dogs and cats, leave hairs behind them. This is most noticeable when the rabbit is shedding. Rabbits shed about four times a year, as a new coat replaces the old. In pet rabbits, the excess of fur all over your furniture might be a nuisance. The only way you can reduce the shedding is to groom the rabbit, removing the dead hairs before they stick to your sofa. Regular brushing also reduces the amount of hair a rabbit swallows, which can cause blockages.
