Rabbits look cute and cuddly, but sometimes they are aggressive, wild and unfriendly. To make a rabbit into a family pet, you must be train and tame it. Sometimes rabbits remain aggressive despite training efforts, but other times it's possible to tame the animal into a family-friendly pet. Rabbits can scratch and even bite, so until you're sure they're friendly, do not let children handle them and wear gloves to touch them.

      Take the animal to a vet for spaying or neutering. Hormones can contribute to behavior issues, so getting animal spayed or neutered can make it calmer. This makes it less territorial and biting less likely.
