Berries
-
You can feed your rabbit strawberries, raspberries and blueberries. They should only be fed a one or two berries once or twice a week as a treat.
Apples
-
Rabbits can have a small slice of apple with the seeds removed. A 1-inch slice is the appropriate serving size. Select organically grown fruit free of pesticides for your pet rabbit.
Oranges
-
A segment of orange with the peel removed can be fed to your rabbit. Due to the high sugar content of fruit, rabbits should only be allowed one or two servings of fruit twice a week. Be sure to wash all fruit before feeding it to your rabbit.
Dried Fruit
-
Rabbits may enjoy small bits of dried fruit. They enjoy dried cherries, papayas and cranberries. Do not feed dried fruit to rabbits that are overweight.

What Fruits Are Fed to Rabbits?
A rabbit's diet typically consists of hay, pellets and vegetables -- mainly a mixture of green leafy vegetables such as lettuce, kale and mustard greens. Healthy rabbits may eat fruit in small quantities. Do not feed fruit to your rabbit if it is overweight or has soft stools.
