Do hyenas eat rabbits in the wild?
Hyenas are known to be opportunistic feeders and will consume a wide variety of meat, including rabbits. While they may not specifically hunt rabbits, hyenas will certainly scavenge on a rabbit carcass if they find one. In some cases, hyenas may even hunt small mammals such as rabbits if other food sources are scarce. Additionally, hyenas are known to raid the burrows of other animals, including rabbits, in search of food. Therefore, it is likely that hyenas do indeed eat rabbits in the wild, even if they are not a primary food source.
