Bunnies are very clean animals and they groom themselves regularly. Bathing a bunny can strip away the natural oils that help keep their skin and fur healthy, which can lead to skin irritation and infections. Additionally, the stress of being bathed can cause a bunny to go into shock, which can be fatal.
If your bunny gets dirty, you can spot clean them with a damp cloth. To do this, wet a soft cloth with warm water and gently wipe the dirty area. Be sure to dry your bunny thoroughly afterwards to avoid them catching a chill.
