Can baby rats drink out of a bowl?
Baby rats typically nurse from their mother until they are about 3 weeks old. After this age, they begin to wean and take in solid foods. While they are still nursing, it is not advisable to give them water in a bowl, as they may not be able to drink safely. Once they have weaned, they can learn to drink out of a bowl, but it is important to make sure the water is shallow and that they are supervised at all times.
