Instructions
Choose your terrarium. There are commercial reptile cages that are extremely light-weight. These include flexariums, which are made of screen and hollow plastic tubing. Flexariums even have handles on the top, which can be used to hang them.
Drill a hole in the ceiling or wall.
Screw the hook or bracket into the ceiling. Hooks made for hanging plants work best in this situation. They can support a bit of weight. If hanging directly from the ceiling is not an option, you can screw a horizontal bracket made for hanging plants directly into the wall. While the plant hook can be screwed into the ceiling by itself, screws hold horizontal brackets securely.
Hang the terrarium from the hook or bracket. If the terrarium does not have a handle, string wire into a hook-shape through the top of the terrarium.
