Instructions

    • 1

Thoroughly rinse out the aquarium tank with water. Do not use any soap.

    • 2

Rinse aquarium rocks thoroughly. Do not use soap.

    • 3

Fill the tank one-fourth full with aquarium rocks. Smooth across the bottom. On one side of the tank, triple the amount of aquarium rocks present, creating a slope. The sloped side of the aquarium will be the half-tank part.

    • 4

Fill the end with the least amount of rocks, those at the bottom of the slope, with water. Add water cleaner to the water to remove any chlorine and harmful toxins. Add the water pump to keep the water clean and filtered.

    • 5

On the aquarium side of the tank, place a large rock in the center of the water. Part of the rock should be above the water. This will allow the amphibians or crustaceans in your tank a place to get away from the fish without completely leaving the water.

    • 6

On the land side of the aquarium, place another large rock. This gives your amphibians or crustaceans one more place to climb.

    • 7

Install a small heat lamp above the rock on the half land portion. Add the food bowl toward the back of the half-land portion of the aquarium.
