What is the komodo dragon prey to?

Komodo dragons have few predators as adults due to their venomous bite and impressive size as the dominant species on the islands where they dwell. Humans are their main predators, posing threats from illegal poaching and habitat destruction caused by human activity.

As juveniles, some predators include larger predators, such as the reticulated python or large birds of prey including the Philippine eagle or marabou stork. Other adult dragons kill and cannibalize the young in the presence of food scarcity.
