What is the difference between a boy snail and girl snail?

Snails don't have distinct genders like humans or most other animals. Instead, they are hermaphrodites, meaning they have both male and female reproductive organs. This means they have the potential to act as both a "boy" and a "girl" during mating.

However, they still need to mate with another snail to reproduce. During mating, one snail typically takes the role of the "male" and the other the "female" to exchange sperm. The snail that receives the sperm will then lay eggs.

So, there's not really a "boy" or "girl" snail, but they do play different roles in the mating process.
