What kind of weather do Great Danes like?

Great Danes originate in Germany, where the climate is moderate, with warm summers and cold winters. They are not well suited for extremely hot or cold weather. In hot weather, they can overheat easily and may be at risk for heatstroke. In cold weather, they may need extra protection to stay warm. Ideally, Great Danes should be kept indoors in a climate-controlled environment. If they must spend time outdoors, they should have access to shade and water.
