How big can a African snail grow up to?

African land snails (also called giant African land snails) are the largest of all known land snails. The body whorls are dark yellow or brown colour with many growth marks while the shell varies in colour from a light creamy beige to a dark blackish brown. The adult shell ranges in size from 7.6 to 20 cm in diameter and up to 18 cm long.
