How heavy is a sea otter?
Sea otters (Enhydra lutris) are marine mammals that are native to the coastal waters of the North Pacific Ocean. They are known for their dense fur, playful behaviour, and for using tools to hunt for food. Sea otters vary in size depending on their subspecies and gender, but on average, they weigh between 22 to 45 kilograms (48 to 99 pounds). Adult male sea otters are typically larger than females.
