Which mammal injects venom through its teeth?

The mammal that injects venom through its teeth is the Solenodon.

There are two species of solenodon, both found in the Caribbean:

* Hispaniolan solenodon ( *Solenodon paradoxus*) found in Hispaniola (Dominican Republic and Haiti).

* Cuban solenodon (*Solenodon cubanus*) found in Cuba.

They are insectivores and use their venom to subdue their prey, which includes insects, worms, and small vertebrates.
