Instructions

    • 1

Take your 20 gallon reptile tank and place it in an area that is neither exposed directly to heat nor exposed directly to cold. The temperature in your tank should be from 70 to 80 degree Fahrenheit as snakes are cold-blooded and are unable to regulate their own temperature.

    • 2

Place reptile moss throughout your tank to create an even layer. Furnish your tank with your furnishings as you see fit, but be sure to include at least one shelter and one clear, "sunning" area for your bull snake. For your sunning area, attach your UVB heater lamp and thermometer to ensure the temperature in your clear area is 80 to 95 degree Fahrenheit. Place the water bowl on the other side of the tank from the sunning area.

Introduce your bull snake to its habitat and regularly replace its water supply every week by using tap water and your de-chlorination kit which can be purchased at any local pet shop. Feed your bull snake one pinkie a week and ensure that it eats the pinkie and is able to keep it down.

Clean your tank with reptile disinfectant once every month to clear up waste and any other bacteria build up.
