  1. How to Accelerate Ball Python Growth.

    • 1

Feed your 1-year-old ball python once every week rather than every two weeks. However, rather than feed your python grown mice, feed your python pinkies, orunborn mice, as the size is smaller and more manageable for your python to eat in week periods. Pinkies can be bought at any local pet store and are a rich source in nutrients and fats for your python.

    • 2

Record your python's size until it reaches 2 feet, usually within eight to 12 months from feeding once a week, and exchange your pinkies for grown mice. While using grown mice once a week, monitor your snake after every kill and ensure that your python is able to swallow and eat the entire mouse. If your python is unable to or refuses to eat, imminently transition back into using pinkies and try using mice again after three weeks.

    • 3

Record your python's size until it has reached 3 feet. Once your python has reached this size, revert to feeding your python once every two weeks as your python, which is now about 3 years old, will not have as versatile of a digestive tract and will be unable to consume mice so rapidly.
