Things You'll Need
- Frozen mouse
- Beef or chicken broth
- Fabric cage cover
Instructions
Pour some beef or chicken broth into a bowl and soak the frozen mouse in it for a few minutes. The broth will give off an enticing scent that the ball python will be attracted to.
Set the soaked mouse in the cage in front of the ball python to make sure it's aware of the mouse's presence.
Cover the python's tank with a fabric cage cover and step away for an hour or more. Ball pythons are often shy as well as picky eaters. Giving your python some space might be the best thing you can do to help it eat the frozen mouse.
