Homemade Snake Hook
Unscrew and remove the mop head from the handle.
Insert a small piece of rubber hose into the screw hole of the mop handle.
Screw the rubber coated rafter hook into the mop handle. Adjust rubber hose piece as needed to make a tight fit.
Use this homemade snake hook to hold, control or move a snake without causing it harm.
Homemade Snake Noose
Fold the leather strap in half.
Insert the folded leather strap into the PVC pipe, leaving a loop hanging out of one end.
At the opposite end of the PVC pipe hold both ends of the leather strap with your hand.
Gently slide the looped end of the leather over the snake's head, stopping approximately one-third to halfway down its body.
Carefully lift the snake, holding the ends of the leather strap to secure the loop around its body.
