How are the bumble bees dangerous?
While bumblebees can sting, their sting is generally not dangerous to humans and is only used as a defense mechanism when the bee feels threatened. Unlike honeybees, bumblebees do not have barbed stingers, so their stingers can be easily removed without leaving a barb in the skin. However, some people may experience allergic reactions to bumblebee stings, and in rare cases, these reactions can be severe.
