Is a polar bear or squirrel more suited to life in forest?

A squirrel is much more suited to life in a forest. Here's why:

* Habitat: Polar bears are adapted to Arctic environments with ice and snow. Forests are too warm and lack the necessary food sources for them.

* Diet: Polar bears primarily eat seals, which they hunt on sea ice. Squirrels eat nuts, seeds, and other small forest foods.

* Physical Adaptations: Squirrels have excellent climbing abilities, strong claws for digging, and bushy tails for balance - all crucial for navigating a forest. Polar bears have thick fur for insulation, large paws for walking on snow and ice, and a powerful sense of smell for hunting seals - traits not useful in a forest.

While squirrels might occasionally venture into open areas, they are primarily forest dwellers. Polar bears, on the other hand, are entirely reliant on the Arctic environment.
