* Throughout most of the southeastern United States, except for Florida
* Northern parts of Texas and Louisiana
* Some parts of southern Ontario and Quebec in Canada
They prefer deciduous forests and woodlands with an abundance of trees for nesting and foraging. You may also find them in urban parks, suburban areas, and even cemeteries where they can find food sources like bird feeders.
