What biome does Florida panthers live in?
Florida panthers (Puma concolor cory) live in the subtropical forests and wetlands of Florida. These habitats provide the panthers with the necessary shelter, food, and water resources. The Florida panther's range historically included much of the southeastern United States, but today it is restricted to a small area in southwestern Florida. This is due to a combination of factors, including habitat loss, hunting, and human-wildlife conflict.
