What does a brush tail possum look like?

The brush-tailed possum (Trichosurus vulpecula) is a marsupial native to eastern Australia, including Tasmania, and has been introduced to New Zealand. It has a distinctive black and white tail that is about the same length as its body. The possum's fur is typically gray to brown in color, and its underside is lighter in color. It is a nocturnal animal, meaning it is active at night. The brush-tailed possum has an excellent sense of smell, hearing, and sight, which helps it to find food and avoid predators. It is a solitary animal, except for during the breeding season. Brush-tailed possums are omnivores and their diet consists mainly of leaves, fruits, flowers, and insects.
