Instructions
Remove the turtle dock from the glass by slipping a quarter between the suction cups and glass wall of the enclosure. The dock should easily pop off after you've pried off all of the cups.
Add enough fresh water to raise the waterline to the desired level and add some water dechlorinator to neutralize chlorine and other harmful chemicals. Water dechlorinators can be found in virtually any pet store and have dosage instructions on their packaging.
Place the turtle dock right above the new water line and press the suction cups against the glass until they're tightly secured.
How to Raise a Turtle Dock
Aquatic turtles are very popular pets for children and adults alike. These turtles typically require a unique half-water, half-land setup in their enclosures. Aquatic turtles love to swim, but they also need basking areas above the waterline that allows them to rest and warm up their exothermic bodies. A popular product is a turtle dock, a foam or plastic block often painted like a piece of rock or wood, that is supported above the water using rubber suction cups. These useful little decorations are also easy to raise if you need to add water.
