Can slider turtle live with tiger barb fish?
Slider turtles are semi-aquatic reptiles that require specific environmental conditions to thrive, including a large tank with both water and land areas, proper water quality, and specific temperature and lighting conditions. Tiger barbs, on the other hand, are tropical fish that require different water parameters and environmental conditions. Slider turtles are known to be voracious predators and can easily prey on smaller fish, including tiger barbs. Additionally, the size difference between a slider turtle and a tiger barb could pose a safety risk to the fish, as the turtle could accidentally injure or consume the fish. For these reasons, it is not recommended to house slider turtles with tiger barb fish.
