Here's why:
* Size: Impalas are medium-sized antelopes. Adult males can reach up to 90 cm (35 inches) at the shoulder and weigh up to 70 kg (154 lbs). Females are slightly smaller.
* Comparison: They are larger than many other animals in their habitat, such as zebras and gazelles.
So, while they are not the largest animals in the African savanna, impalas are definitely not small!
