How to Hang a Wodent Wheel

Your pet hamster or rat will probably enjoy running on Wodent Wheels, exercise wheels made especially for small animals. As of 1995, Eric Geislinger, project engineer and publisher of Transoniq Hacker designed Wodent Wheels to provide exercise wheels for mice, rats, hamsters, squirrels, prairie dogs and a few other small pets. Wodent Wheels come in three sizes with entry holes that look like mouse holes, and can last for years. Geislinger also created Wodent Wheels as safe equipment for tails and paws. Feel free to position your Wodent Wheel on the cage or terrarium floor, or by hanging it.

Instructions

    • 1

Hang your Wodent Wheel upside-down on the roof of the cage using nylon cable ties. This allows your pet to have additional floor space.

    • 2

Remove the hitch pin that holds the Wodent Wheel together. Thread the base of the Wodent Wheel through the cage bars, and then connect the wheel to the base. Hold the base securely in place by using black zip ties, as many as you need.

    • 3

Remove the clear plastic hook from a suction cup. Press the loop of the suction cup onto the steel Wodent Wheel stand. Push the suction cup close to where the back of the stand enters the wheel, and then press the suction cup against the glass aquarium tank.
