Instructions
Place a mat or a towel on top of a firm surface such as a table, then place your lionhead bunny on it. Use a fine-toothed slicker brush to gently brush the surface of the mane to remove the loose wool. Brush the entire body, then use a metal-tooth comb to comb through the wool.
Give your bunny a warm bath using a mild shampoo that is specially made for pets. Gently scrub the rabbits wool with a rag. Rinse the shampoo residue thoroughly to prevent itching or hair loss. Use a towel to remove excess water from the wool, then use a blow dryer on the lowest setting to thoroughly dry him. Finish up by brushing his wool one final time.
Groom your lionhead bunny's toes. Place the bunny in your lap and hold him securely. Use a small toenail clipper to clip the tip of the rabbit's toenails. Use caution when clipping the nails to avoid cutting the veins.
Clean your lionhead bunny's ear by using a ear cleaner purchased from a pet supply store. Use a soaked cotton ball to wipe the inside of the rabbit's ear, paying special attention to the folds and creases. Remove the excess cleaner from his ears with a clean, dry cotton ball.
