What do babies molly look like on the first day?

Mollies are livebearers, meaning that they give birth to live young instead of laying eggs. Molly fry, or baby mollies, are born fully formed and look like miniature versions of their parents. Depending on the species of molly, they can be anywhere from 1/4 to 1 inch long at birth. They have long, slender bodies with a forked tail and a pointed snout. Their coloration is typically a combination of black, white, and orange, but some varieties can also be red, yellow, or blue.

Molly fry are very delicate and need to be kept in a separate tank from adult fish. The water in their tank should be clean and free of ammonia and nitrites, and the temperature should be kept between 75 and 80 degrees Fahrenheit. Molly fry feed on a variety of foods, including brine shrimp, daphnia, and powdered flake food. They should be fed several times a day, and the amount of food they eat should be gradually increased as they grow.

Molly fry will grow quickly, and they will typically reach adulthood within 3 to 6 months. At this point, they can be transferred to a community tank with other adult fish.
